Oh friends. Amanda and Andrew’s wedding this weekend at Crystal Springs Golf Resort in Hardyston, NJ was one I had been looking forward to for a long time. If you remember their engagement session you knew that this day would be just as amazing and incredible. Plus, the weather was beyond beautiful, the venue is right down the road from my house (and I used to work there) and it’s spectacular. Seriously.
Amanda and Andrew met in College at Lehigh University right after Amanda returned from studying abroad. After him asking her to be his girlfriend multiple times and her declining, she finally came to her senses and asked him to be her boyfriend! (Good job Amanda!)
He proposed to her on the Mountaintop Campus at Lehigh University, where they both attended undergrad and now have begun their adorable little family with their puppy Karl!
The girls got ready in the clubhouse while the guys got ready in the Grand Cascade Hotel and Clubhouse prep meant I got to hang the gown and bridesmaids dresses from the arbor! SWOON!
They didn’t want to do a first look so we did a faux first look around the wall- they got to talk and cry a bit but didn’t see each other at all! It was so cute. We then got ready for their outdoor ceremony on the lawn overlooking the gardens and the mountains! HOW FREAKIN GORGEOUS! Oh man. I have always loved this place.
After the ceremony we took all the formals on the golf course and we had the most beautiful setting sun! Amanda and Andrew are so perfect for each other. Their weirdness and goofiness compliments the other quirks perfectly and I absolutely love how much love and laughter they share together. I know without a second of doubt they have decades of joy and love ahead of them.
The reception was held in the ballroom and I have to say it was probably the most jam packed dance filled epic reception of all time. At 10PM, the DJ played the Piano Man and EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the room joined arms and made a gigantic circle around the room. There were also countless dance circles, which meant I HAD to do the worm and I think it actually cured my sprained wrist! HOORAY! Someone was diong flips on the dance floor and then all craziness broke out when the fire alarms started going off (false alarm!) It ended up becoming a part of the music and I swear no one missed a beat!
All in all, this day was absolutely incredible and I am so thankful I got to hang out with these two and their crazy friends and family all day!
Who wouldn’t want this ceremony space?
Oh my gosh, I just about died when we got this shot.
This birch ring box was so cool!! Love the special touches.
Loved Amanda’s dad’s reaction when he got to see her for the first time!!
GORGEOUSSSSS. EEK!! The most beautiful bride!!
Dand good looking bridal party.
Amanda’s mom MADE her veil and I was in absolute awe all day.
Love this little piece of resort life right down the road from my house.YOU GUYS. I love you.
And then we had about two minutes to shoot the whole reception. Gotta love crunch time!
This was probably about when the fire alarm stared going offf…
The epic Piano Man jam at 10PM.
Amanda and Andrew, I love you guys + Karl and can’t thank you enough for having me be a part of this day. I can’t wait to continue following along for all your adventures and wish you all the happiness in the world. I hope to see you again soon! <3 I have no clue what time it is in Tahiti right now but enjoy!!! <3
