Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

This weekend was such a joy. First, I had Morgan and Mike’s wedding, and then I capped it off with Megan and Andrew’s Belmar, NJ Engagement Session. The second I spoke with them over Facetime when they inquired I had my fingers crossed that I would be their photographer. You could tell they brought joy anywhere they went and they were just so much FUN. I was looking forward to meeting them for months! And then, Megan was sweet enough to invite me to the beach with her family! I wasn’t able to make it, but seriously, I have the best couples ever. =)

Megan and Andrew met in college through mutual friends. While Andrew always had a crush on Megan, she never gave him the time of day until after college where she realized just how genuine and caring he was! As the flip switched, their relationship quickly kindled and today they are not only completely in love, but best friends, and absolutely adorable together!

On a trip to Naples, Florida, where they go every year for New Years, Andrew told Megan he found a great new breakfast shop he wanted to take her to.  She was impatiently waiting to try it and after a few days of begging him to go, he finally gave in and went! After breakfast, Andrew asekd her to go for a walk on the beach and started saying a bunch of nice things about her and the reasons he loved her. She jokingly said “Is this the part where you pull out the ring?” and when she turned around he was down on one knee smiling.  Speechless, to say the least, Megan could only muster a shocked stare.  Eventually he asked if that meant yes and she mustered an “uh-huh!”

The whole session was so much fun.  We started in Divine Park in Spring Lake, NJ and ended on the beach in Belmar. The ocean was bluer than I’d EVER seen in NJ and we had literally the best sunset I may have ever seen in my life. HOLY SMOKES.  Needless to say, they put up with me shooting for a REALLY long time because the sky just got better and better. I can’t get over these pictures and how much joy is in them!!
