I truly believe I have the best couples ever. Madison and Derek came to me in a panic after they had an engagement session with another photographer and told me they saw an engagement session I did of their good friends Rachael and Dillon which I had recently done in Washington DC. They said they wanted their pictures to be just like that and we met that week at the biergarten to discuss wedding details.  They booked by the end of the night and since then a beautiful friendship has blossomed.

Madison and Derek met in college at a fraternity/sorority event and the rest is history! After their first date of sushi they knew it was a forever type of love.  Currently residing in the Upper East Side, we knew Manhattan was the palce to do their engagement session and to get a more romantic atmosphere we chose Central Park. We lucked out with the most beautiful day and I was so lucky to be surrounded by their love and happiness for an afternoon.

Since then, Madison has started her own Event Planning company with her friend Ashley, called A&M Events and I have been lucky enough to be their main photographer shooting the wonderful things they come up with!

Central Park was buzzing with love that day, we watched a proposal happen under the bridge on one of the boats! It was beautiful! There are so many niches to explore in Central Park and we barely skimmed the surface. I am very happy with what we stumbled upon though!

I can’t not wait for Madison and Derek’s wedding in Summer 2015 to be a part of their journey and see some of my wonderful past couples! Enjoy!
