I had the pleasure of photographing Ashely and Steven in Bear Mountain, NY over breathtaking views of the Hudson Valley! It was a PERFECT Fall day and the weather was spectacular. I especially loved Ashleys Fall outfit. And the tree we found up on top of the mountain! I was so stoked to have found it, it reminded me of California and I love the character it brings to these photos!

Ashley and Steven met at a New Years eve party in 2010. For NYE 2015 they decided to get away for a bit and celebrate alone in Cape May, NJ and just enjoy the time alone together. After a fun day and an amazing 6 course dinner they went back to their hotel. While Ashley was getting ready for bed, she turned around and found Steven on his knee with a tear rolling down his cheek. She excitedly accepted his proposal and in all the frenzy the ring ended up on the wrong finger! They celebrated with champagne at midnight exactly 5 years after they had their first meeting. They called their family and friends to tell them the exciting news soon after.

They will be getting married at The Thayer Hotel – one of my favorite venues- in 2016 and I am so honored to share their day with them!
