Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

And the craziest week of my career so far is officially done. And I don’t think you can get crazier so that’s good. Last week ended with a fall engagement session at Bear Mountain State Park for Brittany and Matt and I’d have to say they totally won the best dressed award.  The second part of their shoot Britt rolled up in a flowy red gown and Matt in a Navy Blue suit and I was literally freaking out the whole time.  The trees were still absolutely gorgeous and the sunset, as always at Bear Mountain was jaw droppingly beautiful.

We started out down by Hessian Lake near the Bear Mountain Inn and the way the sun was hitting the water made it look absolutely spectacular.  The water was shining a bright blue and it felt like we were in the Alps or up in Canada! It was so beautiful!  After the lake we drove up to the top of the mountain and hiked to my super secret spot for part 2 where I think the most beautiful pictures of my life happened.

Brittany and Matt both went to high school with me, they graduated a year ahead of me and I played softball with Britt all through high school.  While the were just friends in high school, a night out to dinner catching up during college changed everything.  When Matt confessed he always wanted to kiss her in high school, (and he had beefed up a bit from his 150 lbs soaking wet in high school) Britt noticed how cute he was! They spent the evening catching up and after realizing how much fun they had together, soon after started dating!

Three years and a million laughs later, on a trip down to Cape May, Matt asked Brittany to marry him and through tears, and gasping for breath, I’m not sure she quite ever said yes, but it was certainly implied! The video of that moment brings me to tears!

Britt and Matt, thank you for enduring the cold and the wind with me.  I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! I am so thankful that you have trusted me with these precious memories! I can’t wait to see you guys next year for your October wedding and I absolutely loved catching up with you afterwards! I’m so extremely happy for you both and can’t wait to also be at another Kleine wedding!
