Oh friends… prepare yourself to be smiling from ear to ear and die of cuteness (from the puppy, obviously 😉 !) I am in love with this session! And also prepare yourself for possibly the longest engagement post ever cause I’m that in love with it.
Amanda and Andrew met in College at Lehigh University right after Amanda returned from studying abroad. After him asking her to be his girlfriend multiple times and her declining, she finally came to her senses and asked him to be her boyfriend! (Good job Amanda!)
He proposed to her on the Mountaintop Campus at Lehigh University, where they both attended undergrad so it was only fitting that we did their engagement session at Lehigh University as well!
And we had SO.MUCH.FUN. When I first spoke to them about their wedding I instantly knew we were a great fit. Their wedding desires were simple: outdoors, laid back with a view, fun and stress free. If you know me at all, you know that this is my IDEAL situation. Not only were they seriously awesome and so much fun to talk to, but they were also getting married at Crystal Springs Golf Resort at the Grand Cascades Lodge which is right down the street from my house AND I actually used to work there!
K, back to the session. We met up at the Admissions building on campus and my jaw dropped instantly. As an architecture major and a lover of old buildings, this one blew me away. Not to mention the Ivy growing up it was spectacular! We took some pictures with Karl (Their super adorable Yorkie) and then ventured over to the Engineering building where Andrew spent all of his undergrad days!
HOW CUTE IS HE?!?!
I Love the Ivy growing on all the buildings! It’s so quaint and gives it so much character. I wish every building could be covered with Ivy,
My kind of people. Always laughing. We had so much fun!
Tell me this isn’t the best picture you’ve ever seen. AHHH. At least it’s in the running, right?
From here, we went to the Bethlehem Steel Stacks (always a favorite) because Amanda and Andrew used to explore here when they first started dating + it’s only a half a mile from campus. I bet you would NEVER guess from these pictures that it was raining out, right?! AH! This light is just magical!!
I love the steel stacks. Such a cool part of history.
One of my favorites!!
Oh Okay, model Amanda. Haha! I was laughing so hard. I was laying on the ground to get a better angle and Karl decided to investigate.A’s all around!
Amanda and Andrew, you guys seriously rock. I’m so excited that I get to work with you both and was thrilled I got to know you better and finally meet the famous Karl. I can’t wait for your wedding this August and to see you guys soon!! Enjoy!
