Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

I’m pretty blessed with amazing friends and Andrew and Faith are no exception. Andrew and Scott (my boyfriend) have been great friends for a few years now, having met in college and sharing a love for running and the outdoors. They’ve been making regular trips up to the Catskills and Adirondacks to go hiking, snowboarding and climbing for a few years now and this time Faith and I got to join them.

Andrew and Faith met at school too, at my Alma mater, Philadelphia University.  Faith was the girls Cross Country captain and Andrew was the boys.  After a couple years of being friends they started dating and it’s been six years of adventures ever since. Andrew proposed while they were canoeing so it was completely fitting do their engagement session (part of it) on the Lake. They are avid adventurers– climbing, hiking, canoeing, surfing, off-roading – you name it.  I’m so thankful that I have adventurous friends who wanted to do their engagement session on Lake Placid, and then on top of Whiteface… and then in a river…. This is Part 1. Sunrise on Lake Placid.  Note: it is extremely difficult to photograph while you yourself are in a canoe! Especially when Scott is navigating.Piotrowski RIver_0438 Piotrowski RIver_0439

Not the easiest thing to do, but he certainly succeeded.  Can’t wait ’til he’s shooting with me more and not navigating the canoe!
