Oh my goodness. You guys, these two are just the CUTEST. The second I spoke with them I knew we were going to be a great fit and I felt like we were instant friends. Morgan and Mike are down to earth, outdoorsy, goofy, SO in love, genuine, sweet, loving, the list goes on. They’re the type of people who always put others before themselves (I can just tell.) 

Morgan and Mike met just before Morgan graduated college. Their first date consisted of him ripping apart her resume… (long story..) Which she proceeded to tell me she was mortified about! Luckily he made it up with wine tasting and paint night for their next date, ha!

When we first spoke about their wedding plans Mike proceeded to tell me that it was extremely important to him that I have a great time at their wedding. That I enjoy the food, put down my camera and dance a little (or a lot), and just celebrate with them! What the heck- how did I get the best couples in the WORLD?! Seriously though. After hearing about their relationship a bit more, Morgan told me that their absolute favorite date was their second date where Mike took her to a winery for wine tasting and a paint night!! I have ALWAYS wanted to do one of those! We agreed that it would be totally awesome to do their engagement session at a winery and bring a canvas to paint! It was so fun! We ended up at the GORGEOUS Laurita Winery in New Egypt, NJ. Although the vineyards were past their prime for the season the grounds were still beautiful! We ended the session with wine tasting, which could not be a better way to end my last engagement session of the season!!

He proposed to her in San Diego, surprising her on her work trip and she was absolutely speechless! I love hearing this story and seeing the smiles spread across their face when they tell it! But all this aside, I love the way they love each other. It’s genuine, it’s refreshing, it’s selfless. When I asked them what they loved about each other the list was a mile long and I love that! And most importantly, you can see that they are BEST friends and at the end of the day I love nothing more than a couple who not only have a great and loving relationship, but can also call each other best friends, be each other’s biggest supporter, and bring out the best in each other. And this…. this is exactly what Morgan and Mike do for each other.

Thank goodness we didn’t totally discount the vineyards being dead because look at the view of Laurita from there!! Love these!!! Honestly, you guys could be models. I can’t even handle this.

To anyone looking for a great vineyard in central/south jersey I highly recommend Laurita Winery! Their wine was great and the grounds are just stunning!

 

Morgan and Mike: I’m so thankful you guys were brought into my life so I can document yours. Thank you for making this such a fun experience so far. I can not wait for the wedding, the food, the dancing, and the wonderful friendship I foresee happening. You guys are truly beautiful inside and out!
