Rachel and PJ met after college through a mutual friend. Their first date consisted of a horror movie followed by a few hours of guitar hero… after six years of dating PJ made the move and proposed to Rachel at High Point State Park after a perfect day of golf and relaxation. They came to me wanting a fun photographer and after our initial meeting at Blue Ale House I knew we were a great fit and I hoped to get the chance to photograph their wedding! The engagement session was soon to follow and after 15 minutes of camera jitters we started having a blast!
We started off with PJ’s grandpa’s wonderful teal car (I LOVE teal!) and then went on a hike! We lucked out missing the rain as you can see the gloomy clouds behind them in some of the pictures and survived a few wind storms along the way!

PJ grew up in my hometown of Vernon, NJ and wanted to do the pictures on the Appalachian Trail boardwalk. This is a place near and dear to my heart as it’s the place I most often took photo adventures when I was learning film back in high school!

You’d never know how gloomy it was this day when you have smiles like that radiating!
