Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

It’s always the highest compliment when a past bride turned friend refers you to her best friend. That is exactly what happened with Rachel and Casey and from the moment I spoke with them I knew we’d be a great fit. I had the pleasure of meeting them and dancing the night away with them at Aimee and Matt’s wedding this past June, and our excitement began to build for this engagement session!
The first time Rachel and Casey met, she told him she wanted to learn how to golf (not entirely true- she really just wanted him to ask her out on a date!) Clearly, it worked…but Rachel still doesn’t know how to golf very well. They went to the driving range first, followed by dinner and their first kiss later that night!
After realizing they were quickly becoming inseparable, there was no doubt in each other’s minds that this was the one. Casey took Rachel out for a bike ride one day at a park near her house. He kept asking her to sit down on the bench but she didn’t want to so she sat down on his lap. He began telling her all the things he loved about her, his heart beating a little bit faster and little bit louder. As he started pouring his heart out, Rachel knew he was proposing and couldn’t hug him, cry, or say yes any faster.
So fast forward to this week, when I finally got to see these two interact together. My gosh was it a treat! Rachel and Casey are completely smitten by each other and anytime they look at each other their faces light up. As did mine behind the camera. Now I know why my cheeks are always hurting!!
There was so much laughter during this session. Smiling, giggling, big bear hugs that made Rachel feel safe in his arms and hand holding. There was dancing in the flower beds as the sun was setting behind age old trees and a sense of playfullness that filled the air.
After the wardrobe change, we popped the champagne and broke out the confetti! Little did we even think of what a mess we would make (It was biodegradable confetti but still!) We then spent almost 30 minutes or more picking confetti out of the grass! HAH! Regardless, I think it was totally worth it because I love those pictures so much! Stay tuned til the end for those!
After we picked up nearly every last piece, we went out to Warwick for Thai, Sushi and Martinis! I couldn’t have asked for a better night with these two and can’t wait for their wedding next year!!
Rachel and Casey, thank you for trusting me with these special memories. I am so glad Aimee introduced us and am beyond happy that you two have found forever in each other. I can’t wait to see you again soon!!
