When I first spoke to Dayra and Thomas I knew they were going to be a great fit for Laura Lee Photography. I mean, Tom proposed at a waterfall for Pete’s sake so I was already super excited about the possibilities with them!

They met while she was training under him at Best Buy. While Dayra was super shy at first around him, she finally mustered up enough courage to talk to him and the rest is history! Somewhere in that TV aisle sparks were flying! That was 8 years ago.

Since that day, they have become the best of friends, and you can tell that there is such a strong comfort they feel around each other. He protects her, keeps her safe, holds her tight, is her best friend, and she his. This was so clear during our engagement session at Raymondskill Falls in Milford, PA. I love shooting at this place! We started out by the upper falls, and they weren’t afraid to get in the water. Luckily it’s really shallow at the base of the falls so we could walk around a little bit! Shoes off please! After the main waterfall we took quite the hike down to the bottom of the trail where the creek is, it was getting dark pretty quick in the shade of the trees but we got some beautiful shots of them dancing, cuddling under the blanket and loving each other gracefully and quietly. That’s the type of love they share. It’s quiet, it’s honest, it’s humbling. You can just tell, being around them that either of them would do anything for the other one. They share a deep love for each other’s families and are so eager to have everyone they love together in one room for the wedding! I equally can’t wait to be surrounded by their friends and family and know that it’s going to be a day full of incredible memories that are going to last a lifetime.

Love these shots! I love when my couples don’t mind getting their feet wet! Literally! So much fun playing in the w Winnie the Pooh posing at it’s finest! Always my favorite shots!! Love this ring! I don’t know if this was on purpose but they totally wore Islanders colors! Which I would have never known if they hadn’t also brought their Islanders jersey’s haha!
