What a whirlwind. I met Shelby at the bridal shower for one of my former brides (Hey Veronica!). It was there I also met her son, Landon, and fell in love with him. I was pretty excited when I got to continue my flirting with this toddler at Veronica’s wedding a few weeks later and it was then and there that both Shelby and I knew I absolutely had to shoot her wedding.
Shelby and Tim created this amazing day, full of friends and family and love and beauty. It was gorgeous. ALL. DAY. LONG. I mean, Shelby’s veil, I just can’t. And the flowers!!!! Oh my gosh, the flowers were stunning and to make them even better they were all done by Shelby’s very talented mother, Susan. The day was filled with very special details and beautiful jewel tones. The invitations were designed by her very talented MOH, Maria and even before I learned that I was in love! I could gush for a long long time about this day, but the moral of the story is. Shelby, Tim, Landon. I love you guys. You are beautiful inside and out. I’m so glad I can not only call you my clients, but also my friends. Thank you for letting me into your life to tell your story. I can’t wait to see you again.
The ceremony was held at St James Catholic Church in Falls Church, Virginia. Shelby could not have looked more beautiful walking down that aisle towards her two handsome men–her soon to be husband and their beautiful boy Landon–my favorite little munchkin.
We went to a local park to take portraits and although it was freezing we lucked out with splendid fall colors even through November!
The reception was held at the Marriot in Falls Church and they certainly knew how to throw a party! All the flowers were done by Shelby’s mom Susan and I’m blown away at her talent!
There were so many wonderful moments of the night, but these were two of my favorites…
I can’t wait to see you both again someday, I wish you nothing but the best! <3 Thank you for letting me tell your love story.
