It’s always the BEST feeling when someone inquiries with you and says that they knew you’d be their wedding photographer before they were even engaged. That happened to be the case with Amanda and Dan and I am SO honored! Amanda went to my high school and had been following my work since I started (I’m so humbled!) and when they reached out about shooting their wedding at FEAST at Round Hill I was so thrilled that I was available. After our initial consultation, I could tell that they were both super fun, outdoor loving and bubbly- which is exactly the type of couples I love working with!!
They mentioned that they wanted to do their engagement session at Raymondskill Falls in Milford, PA and this location is becoming a quick favorite! There’s a bit of hiking involved and the surroundings just can’t get any more beautiful! Plus it’s super close to my house!
Amanda and Dan met while working together at Shop Rite. Their relationship started as friends and quickly became flirtatious as Dan made fun of her all the time. Finally, one day after work they decided to grab a super later dinner (more like midnight snack) at IHOP. Essentially, the rest was history and now here we are! I couldn’t be more happy for these two to find their soul mate in each other. It was our first time meeting but they’re the type of people you instantly feel comfortable with and it was so much more like hanging out with old friends. And that is something I am always so grateful for.
They stepped out of their car looking cuter than ever and immediately said they were up for some hiking and adventure despite boat shoes and fancy sandals. (They were such good sports about my crazy adventurous ideas!). We started down by the creek this time and I’m SO glad we did because the light down there at that time of day was glowing and gorgeous! They were so nervous going into this (I think every couple usually is) but right from the first picture, they were PROS. Seriously. So. Freakin. Cute.
I quickly knew what a great session it was going to be. They were SO clearly in love and they continuously poked fun at one another, played in the water and shared a ton of sweet kisses and laughter. Really, they made my job SO EASY. They even jumped right in the water when I suggested it and really, there is nothing this photographer loves more!!
After the creek, we hiked WAY back up the mountain and went to the main falls. Again, they were quickly willing to hop in the water and we got some of the cutest portraits up here! I am so thankful that my couples love adventure and the outdoors as much as I do. So without further ado, the future Mr. and Mrs. Angel!
Seriously, are they not the cutest?!!?
So glad the sun cooperated for a quick minute so I could get this beautiful shot!
Hello gorgeous Vera Wang ring. <3
Love this one!!
Yes, always the bestttttt shot. Winnie the Pooh pose for the win!
Hold on tight.
There is nothing, nothing better than this sweet laughter.
Seriously?! I love where I live!
Dancing in the water? Okay- dreammm.
Good thing we ended the session this way hahha!! Amanda got pretty soaked! Love when couples don’t take themselves seriously. =)
AHH! Favorite!!!
Amanda and Dan, I had an absolute BLAST with you two. I can’t wait for your wedding at FEAST at Round Hill next October- if it’s half as good as this was it’s going to be great. I loved getting to know you both over Thai food afterwards and hope to see you again really soon! Keep lovin on each other and give your husky some kisses for me!!
