Oh man you guys, Brianna and Mike’s wedding this weekend at the Ryland Inn in Readington NJ was incredible. Despite the 112 degree heat index, everyone managed to survive without fainting (it was a close one though!) and everything was beautiful- the bride, the bridesmaids, the flowers, the reception room.

Brianna and Mike both went to Fairfield University and Bree became good friends with his friends, and met Mike that way! Their first date was a double date to see Where the Wild Things Are. (I still haven’t see that movie!) and the rest was history. He proposed in their apartment (which Bree barely remembers at all because of shock!) and have since become best friends. As a couple, they’re complimentary.  Mike is more reserved and Bree is totally outgoing. They keep each other in balance and their personalities have definitely rubbed off on each other!  I love that their pictures show Bree laughing hysterically while Mike looks at her with admiration, it’s so fitting to them!

The day was HOT. Hotter than hot. They both got ready at the Bridgewater Marriot and while the girls had a dance party the guys enjoyed their whiskey.  We left for the ceremony at the cutest chapel and things got even hotter. Despite this, the ceremony was beautiful, and Mike and Bree left a bouquet of flowers in honor of Mike’s mother, Joan, at the altar.

We went straight to the Ryland Inn for portraits afterwards and went as quickly as we could to beat the heat! No matter how much water any of us drank we could barely keep up! Luckily, we all pulled through for them and then the party started up in the main ballroom. The band was INCREDIBLE and had the dance floor jam packed all night! I definitely got my dancing shoes on for Uptown Funk! 😉  Jen and I were sad to see the night end but I’m so glad we got to spend the day celebrating with these two!

They didn’t do a first look so this was Mike’s first time seeing her! bree wore a tulle detachable skirt over her gown for the ceremony and she was just STUNNING!

Such a special moment. They left this bouquet in honor of Mike’s mother, Joan. Such a touching part of the ceremony. <3
