Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

This weekend was a double header which means, not just Friday, but Saturday as well, I was being faced with the threat of rain all day. And that was something I wasn’t looking forward to for a mountaintop wedding and an a wedding where all pictures were happening at an arboretum! BUT somehow, we all lucked out and no rain came! The day had a constant mist, and despite being a bit chilly, everything at Diana and Anthony’s Stroudsmoor Country Inn Wedding was BEAUTIFUL.

I met up with the girls at the salon to grab the key to the cabin and then went over there to grab Diana’s details and meet the guys in the cabin next door.  The girls and I had a dance party when they returned from hair and make-up while Cinnamon was crackin jokes and all the guys were giving their best “Blue Steel” face next door.

Once everyone was looking beautiful, it was time for Diana and Anthony’s first look!! We went to one of the pictures spots on the property and since the grass was wet and Diana ha day long train, we had Anthony come to her instead! She turned around, gave the cutest smile in the world and you could literally watch all of Anthony’s adrenaline and nervousness begin to melt away.  They shared smiles, laughter, kisses and cuddles while the mist threatened our comfort but they happily endured all the pictures and these are some of my favorites ever!! They are so cute together! If you remember their engagement session then you already knew that!

After we finished bride and groom portraits, the wedding party joined us and then we went up to Ridgecrest, where the ceremony was going to be held to warm up.  We did family pictures by the fireplace and they set up the ceremony to be inside.  You couldn’t see the view or the mountains at ALL outside since we were in a giant cloud but luckily, the Stroudsmoor has the most beautiful indoor location in front of a fire over looking the gardens and trees outside. It’s an open air room so even the backup plan was fantastic!!

After the ceremony we moved into the room adjacent for cocktail hour and the reception.  Diana and Anthony decorated all the table with custom table names, named after all their favorite breweries. Visiting breweries is their favorite thing to do together so I absolutely loved this unique and personal touch!!

The dances they shared were beautiful and left so many people in tears.  The dance floor was hopping all night with their incredible band and right before I left we got to sneak out for a night shot in the rain!! I’ve never had the chance to do this so I was so excited!!! This shot concluded an incredible day filled with so much joy, laughter and heartfelt emotions. I’m so happy I got to be a part of it!!

Diana and Anthony, you two are unbelievable and I’m so thankful I got to be there to be a part of this day. Thank you a million times over for being so incredible. I hope this new adventure together gets better each and every day and you find many more breweries to explore!! Cheers!
