Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

Morgan and Mike wed this weekend at the Carriage House in Galloway NJ and it’s a wedding I had been looking forward to for SUCH a long time. Because if you remember their engagement session, it was one of my favorites from last fall.  Over the course of this wedding planning process, Morgan and Mike have always felt more like friends and for that I’m always grateful. They made me cry multiple times throughout the day out of happiness and gratefulness and I’m so thankful that every day I wake up loving this job so incredibly much! I cried during the ceremony…and the first look… and the parent dances.. and the video they played in the beginning of the reception… and by myself in the bridal suite when Morgan gave me the sweetest gift. And I didn’t have tissues on me! When will I learn!!

When we first spoke about their wedding plans Mike proceeded to tell me that it was extremely important to him that I have a great time at their wedding. That I enjoy the food, put down my camera and dance a little (or a lot), and just celebrate with them! So, luckily–since I was staying down at the hotel, I got to dance and after party with them on the rooftop bar at the hotel and I had an absolute blast hanging out with their friends and family all night!

Morgan and Mike met just before Morgan graduated college. Their first date consisted of him ripping apart her resume… (long story..) Which she proceeded to tell me she was mortified about! Luckily he made it up with wine tasting and paint night for their next date, ha!

He proposed to her in San Diego, surprising her on her work trip and she was absolutely speechless! I love hearing this story and seeing the smiles spread across their face when they tell it! But all this aside, I love the way they love each other.

Their love is so genuine, refreshing and selfless. Mike was completely awe struck when he saw Morgan for the first time and the tears didn’t stop from the gift exchange to the first look to the ceremony.Mike got Morgan a gift that was their story SKETCHED OUT. It was the coolest gift I’ve ever seen.

During the ceremony, Morgan and Mike exchanged personal vows that left nearly every single person in tears. Luckily they made the programs with a little pocket for tissues so they gave each of the guest a tissue to wipe away the happy tears! Mike made an awesome backdrop of barn doors for the ceremony and I loved how special everything about it was.

Of all the things I could say about these two though, what I love the most is that they are BEST friends and at the end of the day I love nothing more than a couple who not only have a great and loving relationship, but can also call each other best friends, be each other’s biggest supporter, and bring out the best in each other. And this…. this is exactly what Morgan and Mike do for each other. Morgan’s dad brought this up in his toast and I couldn’t agree more!

Their family and friends both welcomes me with open arms- literally- hugs right from the get go and for that one special day I felt like family and an old friend. I can’t thank everyone enough that was involved with this wedding. You have such a huge piece of my heart.. but without further ado…
