OH.MY. GOODNESS. It’s already mid January and I’m still sitting here wondering where the heck 2016 went.  And now 2017 is 1/24th of the way over! Geeze!

 

Anywayy! 2016 was quite the year for Laura Lee Photography.  So many things about it were incredible.  It was my first year as a full time photographer, and that in and of itself was unreal.  I can finally say that I’m a full time New Jersey Wedding Photographer! I have literally been saying I wanted to be a photographer since somewhere between ages 1-2 years old, so to make this a reality is so humbling.

 

This year, during my wedding season, I got to celebrate 25 incredible couples! Not only did I get blessed with 25 of the most down to earth brides and grooms, incredible venues and engagement sessions but I feel like I made 50 new friends along the way too! I am already gearing up for some date nights with some of my incredible couples!

 

This year, I got to shoot weddings in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont and Florida.  I got to shoot at incredible venues like the Ernest Hemingway Home in Key West, Crystal Springs Resort in New Jersey with breathtaking views of the mountains, Full Moon Resort in the Catskills, Stratton Mountain in Vermont and so many more!

 

I also got to work with some INCREDIBLE vendors this year including Blue Jasmine Floral Design, Scott A. Floral Design, Flowers by April, Daneene Make-Up, Premier Entertainment, DJ’s at Large, Eclipse Entertainers and Elegant Ensembles. Check out the links to individual weddings (linked in the post) to see all the vendor credits!

 

But most of all, a humongous thank you to every one of my Laura Lee brides and grooms.  Without you, this dream I’ve had since I was little would have never come true.  Thank you for trusting me with the memories of the most important day of your life.  I am honored and truly humbled.  And I hope to see many of you for a double date night or an anniversary session in the future!

 

From the Northeast to Key West, it’s safe to say it was my most exciting year as a business owner so far. I can’t wait to work with 20+ incredible couples in 2017 and keep growing the Laura Lee Photography family! Without further ado, my favorite image of 2016!!
