Oh my goodness. I am so so so immensely proud of my dear friend Peter Jones of Daily Kairos and Pete and Jordan. Back on his 30th birthday, he launched a kickstarter for his new project, the Daily Kairos Journal. The Kairos Journal is a tool for modern Christians to deepen their relationship with God through daily sacred reflection time. He created it when he was in the first few weeks of becoming a new father to his daughter Ellie, when he felt his relationship with God becoming foggy. He felt like he was just checking God off his to-do list, instead of spending intentional time with Him.
This led to creating his most inspired and purposeful business venture yet, and he was determined to create and launch this journal on Kickstarter by his 30th birthday (which was less than 3 months away at the time of his idea). He worked diligently getting samples, working with vendors, and creating new and better versions of the journal time after time until it was perfect.
We did this brand session the day after we had a mastermind pow-wow at his and Jordan’s house, brainstorming ways to get the Kickstarter over their goal! And within two days of this mastermind time, he did it!! Whether or not any of the strategies we talked about actually played into that happening, all he really needed was a bit of courage that it would work.
He was featured on Entrepreneur on Fire podcast (which is CRAZY!) and had so many more incredible accomplishments and milestones along the way.
Pete, I’m so proud to call you a friend and can’t wait to see what this journal is going to do for so many people. I know this is just the beginning and I am so excited to be along for the journey.
