I am SO EXCITED to share Ashleigh and Justin’s newborn session featuring their newest, and absolute cutest, addition to their family – Hallie!!
I have known Ashleigh since high school and it’s always so special to photograph these different seasons of life for friends and past couples!! It brings me so much joy!!
Ashleigh and Justin were a COVID wedding that I photographed in 2020 for a micro ceremony and had rescheduled their wedding about 5 times – YUP really. Then, they had the surprise of a lifetime before the big wedding reception that they were pregnant with a little girl!

Hallie was born in April to the PROUDEST parents and big siblings!! Her siblings, Bella and Jackson, (and the dog Ghost) are all OBSESSED WITH HER. We did the session in their home, starting out in Hallie’s nursery (which has the cutest little name sign of mountains, and is beautifully designed with gorgeous light spilling through the windows!) and then moving to the master bedroom for some family photos and just amazing photos on the bed!
And… speaking of siblings, Bella was my assistant the whole time! While Ashleigh was feeding Hallie, Bella and I made a mood board of photos to try from Pinterest, Bella helped me with my gear and my lighting and helped with posing the baby and was seriously such an amazing photo assistant!!!
I can already tell that there will be many bedtime stories read to her in the rocking chair in her room – by mom, dad, big brother and big sister. Bella and Jackson care so much about helping mom and dad out with their little sister and are so careful holding her, hugging her, and giving her little kisses on her nose and forehead. It’s the cutest thing and they’re really stepping into this role beautifully! I can’t wait to continue photographing this journey for them all!!
