Sydney here, again! I had the most fun engagement session and I can’t wait to share more! Brooke and Vitaly are so much fun and love each other so much. You can tell by the photos. Whenever they look at each other they can’t help but smile. It’s so sweet to see. We had their engagement session at their wedding venue, Pioneer Farm. It is located in Warwick, New York! It is so beautiful and there were so many awesome locations to take photos.
We started their session by the most beautiful tree which had such an amazing view. They were such naturals in front of the camera. Vitaly would go through all the poses before I gave them direction! It made the session so fun and easy for me.
Now for a little bit about them. Brooke and Vitaly met through a dating app and made plans for their first date. They went to the rooftop bar at the Empire Hotel. They enjoyed each other’s company so much and decided to get dinner that night too. Vitaly pretended it was their first wedding anniversary so that they could get a table by the window. They had the night of their lives. Brooke then invited him over to her apartment and the rest was history! They made plans right away to see each other again.
I asked them at their session the proposal story and it was so romantic! Vitaly had two different proposals planned. They got engaged April 19th, 2020 and it is such a fun story! They were originally supposed to be in Vail, Colorado on vacation. Vitaly had the whole thing planned out, he even hired a photographer to capture it all! COVID happened and they had to cancel their trip, total bummer. But that didn’t stop Vitaly from making it special. They planned their first outing since COVID to go to a bakery downtown with Brooke’s cousin and his boyfriend. They rented scooters and stopped in Times Square to admire how empty it was. Vitaly then went down on one knee and proposed! He got a second photographer to capture the entire thing. How sweet?!
Brooke and Vitaly planned their wedding so quickly, so their engagement session and wedding were only a month apart. Their wedding was one for the books. They had so many fun events and I can’t wait to share!
