And the weather was HOT. We were kinda nervous all day because it was SCORCHING hot. 92ish degrees and humid as can be. We were drenched just sitting inside not moving! Luckily, the clouds rolled in and it cooled down a ton before we went out around 6! We drove down to the park and first explored the rose gardens where they do Shakespeare in the park. After that we went up to Albright Knox and then down to the lake. It was my first time in Buffalo and from what I saw, I really liked it! It’s such a small town feel for a city.
Olivia and Ben met at Medical School, where they are currently going into their last year. I absolutely loved hearing their med school stories- something I don’t get to hear much of being in the creative industry! We shared stories around their dining room table about work, life, travel and more and honestly I just can’t thank these two enough for inviting me up to their home to spend a weekend with them!
Once we started the session it was so clear that these two are just two halves of a whole. They are absolutely adorable together and clearly so in love. It was such a treat to photograph them giggling, and exploring their favorite city together. They strolled through the gardens hand in hand and walked around the lake where they frequent when they get time off together. They are so complimentary to each other and you can just tell being around them that they share an unconditional love for each other. It’s always a blessing to be around- seriously I can’t love my job any more!! You could hear cute whispers of “you’re so handsome” and “you’re so pretty!” left and right and they made my job so easy! By the time the session was coming to an end they were posing themselves and I didn’t have to do a thing!!
After the sun went down they took me out to their favorite Sushi and Fro-Yo spots in their neighborhood and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I can see why they love going out to them!
Olivia and Ben, I honestly can’t say thank you enough for flying me up to Buffalo to capture your love story in the city you call home and fell in love. Thank you for your hospitality, for showing me around and for breakfast lunch dinner and a seriously needed relaxing Sunday. I can’t wait to celebrate with you in May for your NYIT De Seversky Mansion Wedding! It’s going to be a blast!!
