Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

Last week, we couldn’t have asked for better weather for my double header wedding weekend. While Lauren and Patrick’s September Engagement session was 96 degrees, their June wedding at Hanover Manor was about 72 and sunny. We were all ecstatic about this forecast for the happy couple!
When I walked into the bridal suite my jaw literally dropped. Lauren’s blush gown hung from the window with all the tulle a photographer could dream of and the 90’s summer hits were blasting on the stereo. The girls were done with hair and make up SO early (Again-dream!) and we had so much time for singing Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys + having a dance party. The atmosphere was so relaxed and I was in absolute awe of how STUNNING Lauren looked.
Lauren and Patrick met In June of 2013. Lauren’s friend Jamie threw her boyfriend a surprise birthday party in Lauren’s backyard and invited many of Dan’s friends, one of them being Patrick.  Patrick saw Lauren and a friend standing by the horseshoe pit, and asked if they wanted to play.  They played horseshoes and then proceeded to talk for the entire night!
Their first date was out for sushi, where Patrick failed at using chopsticks and spilled soy sauce all over himself. Jokingly, he took chopsticks home to practice and they ended the night grabbing drinks with mutual friends. When Patrick proposed, her wrote Lauren a card of all the dates of their “firsts”- first met, first date, etc. Taped to the card was an unopened pair of chopsticks that he took home with him on their first date. On their wedding day, when Patrick wrote Lauren a card about how excited he was to marry her, he again wrote down all their first, this time including “First day of husband and wife- July 2, 2016.”
They had a Catholic ceremony at the church Lauren grew up at in Budd Lake, and proceeded to party and dance all night at the Hanover Manor. We were so lucky with the weather for portraits and took them at Horseshoe Lake in Roxbury. The pathway and the lighting was so dreamy and I still can’t get over how gorgeous Lauren looked!! I absolutely loved seeing Patrick’s face light up when he saw her walking down the aisle towards him for the first time.
It was one of the most packed dance floors I’ve ever seen write from the get go and I absolute loved the dance circles that were started (where I did the worm with a groomsmen)!! It was SUCH  fun party!
Lauren and Patrick, thank you so much for giving me the honor of celebrating and documenting these memories for you. I’m so glad I got to share in this special day with you and can’t wait to see what the future holds!!
