Sydney here, Laura Lee Photography’s associate photographer! Lindsey and Andrew had their engagement session at the Appalachian Trail in Vernon, NJ! I live right down the road so it was perfect! After a couple of reschedules we finally got to have their session. COVID changed their plans a ton but it didn’t stop them from planning their dream engagement session and wedding. I will be sharing their wedding in the next coming weeks so keep an eye out!
Their story:
Lindsey and Andrew met at Northeastern University in Boston. Lindsey’s friend was friends with Andrew’s roommate. They officially met at a super bowl party. Did I mention that it was in 2010? They have been together for so long! These two hit it off right away and have been together since. Lindsey and Andrew enjoy doing so much together. They both have a passion for working out and anything outdoors. Having dinner at their favorite local Italian restaurant followed by a quiet and relaxing evening cuddling and watching a Netflix documentary is their go to date night. I don’t think there is anything better than laying on the couch with the person you love!
Now for the proposal story, they went to Florida for 10 days to stay with one of Andrew’s close friends. They got up one morning for what Lindsey thought was a “sunrise run” and Andrew proposed. There was a dozen roses, champagne flutes and a bottle of champagne laid out in the sand. Andrew’s friend hit behind the sand dunes and captured the whole thing! They celebrated the rest of the vacation, Lindsey was so surprised!! I love proposal stories, they are always so unique to the couple.
