After my initial consultation meeting with Rachel and PJ at Blue Ale House, I distinctly remember leaving feeling so giddy! They were such an amazing couple and I knew we would be a great fit. I was crossing my fingers that they felt the same way!
Well, they did!! PJ grew up in my hometown and was familiar with the Appalachian trail and that is where we ended up shooting there engagement session. The first 20 minutes of engagement sessions are always a little awkward, but after we all shook off the nervous laughter, we set up on the crisp Fall evening to capture some beautiful shots as well as getting to know each other better. We had a great time exploring and talking about their wedding plans! Check out their engagement photos HERE.
Rachel and PJ met at a halloween party where they were introduced by a mutual friend (little did she know, this would lead to her future bridesmaid status!). They are both fun-loving and extremely caring and they love being active and spending time outdoors.
The day of their wedding was so emotional. The love that surrounds them from friends and family was almost overwhelming. Rachel was wearing a STUNNING Mori Lee official bridal gown and when she walked down the aisle, there was not a dry eye in the house. Watching PJ’s face told the story perfectly. And after the ceremony, they transitioned to an awesome non-stop dance party. What a day!
I am so excited to have formed a friendship with these two and am even more excited to see where their journey as husband and wife takes them!
