Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

I’m super excited to finally share this blog with you guys!! Kristin and Jeremy were destined to be a Laura Lee couple when I saw them at 3 of my couples’ weddings in the past few years! When they finally got engaged I was SO excited when they reached out to me! I couldn’t wait for their engagement session and then for their wedding! Before I gush about how gorgeous their wedding day was, check out their Morristown engagement session from last fall here!

Kristin and Jeremy’s wedding day started at the Hampton Inn in Clinton, New Jersey. This wedding was super special to me since many of my past couples were attending the wedding and getting to see them all again was just so nice!! Even half of Jeremy’s groomsmen were my past grooms as well! We started shooting details in Aimee’s room because of how spacious it was! Aimee is one of my past brides AND the officiant for Kristin and Jeremy as well. How cool is that? One of your best friends marrying the two of you!! Kristin’s details were beautiful and included a handmade bouquet made by her mom’s best friend. Throughout the day Kristin switched between her bouquet and the handmade one which was so nice! After we finished details up we made our way to the beautiful Architects Golf Club!

Since it was August, we thought it would be super hot but it actually the most perfect weather!! People kept joking that they must have made a deal with the devil for the weather they had haha! When we got there everything overlooked the golf course which was so stunning. We started out in the bridal suite where Kristin got dressed to see her soon to be hubby for their first look! Once Kristin was in her gorgeous dress, her mom took one good look at her and started to cry. It was the first cry of the day! She then gave Kristin a necklace like the one her sister got on her wedding day, it was so special! On top of all that, Kristin’s mom also made the veil! It was STUNNING.

After she was ready, we all went off to meet Jeremy for the first look. It was on the cutest little stone bridge and was such a special moment! When he turned around, Jeremy kept looking up and down Kristin’s dress admiring how stunning she looked! It was a little windy out which kept Kristin’s veil constantly flowing, it looked so natural and great! The light was absolutely perfect so we took tons of portraits before heading back for the wedding party.

Then it was time for wedding party photos which were sooo much fun! Both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen were hilarious I could not stop laughing!! The view behind the wedding party photos was seriously to die for, this venue was gorgeous! We were tight on time but squeezed in all the family formals before the ceremony, and were able to hide Kristin just in time for all the guests to arrive!

The ceremony was SO BEAUTIFUL. The arch Kristin and Jeremy stood under was made by her dad for her sister’s wedding and using it for her own as well just made it so special! Aimee did such a great job as the officiant, she had me in tears! You could tell just how grateful Kristin and Jeremy were that she did this with them. Their heartfelt ceremony was over and it was time to celebrateeeee!

I stole Kristin and Jeremy for a few more portraits by the flowers and they came out so perfect. Kristin and Jeremy are such a fun loving couple I absolutely loved this wedding!  I got a group shot with all my couples who were there, my heart was bursting with happiness! We took a group photo with all my couples and all the people that have been a part of a Laura Lee wedding and I couldn’t have been any happier in that moment. The reception was amazing and kicked off with dances and toasts! Their DJ, D’Amico Entertainment, was amazing I always love working with them! We ended the night with a sword fight with sparklers for their night portraits – it was so much fun!!

Kristin and Jeremy, literally there are NO WORDS to say how happy I am that I got to be your wedding photographer.  This has been such a long time coming as we’ve seen each other at so many weddings over the years. I’m so glad we’ve become friends and am so happy for you both. I can’t wait to see what your future holds!!! I LOVE YOU BOTH!
