Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

Oh my goodness!! This is such a special blog post for me to write! Kristin and Jeremy’s Morristown Engagement session in NJ was one I’ve awaited for a long time!! Kristin and Jeremy were pretty much destined to be a Laura Lee couple when they were in attendance of not 1, not 2, but 3 Laura Lee weddings in a matter of a few years! Possibly even more if we’re being honest! Every time I’ve seen them they’d say “maybe we’ll be next!” but at the October wedding where I last saw them, there still wasn’t a ring on Kristin’s finger.  While her and I talked at the after party about when an engagement might happen, Jeremy was hanging nearby with a secret plan formulating! Little did we know!

When I got back from my trip to Europe (where Scott and I got engaged) I came home to also see that Kristin and Jeremy got engaged!!! On their weekend getaway to Lake George, Jeremy popped the question out near the lake! They spent the weekend having a private quiet getaway and didn’t even brag to the bartenders that they just got engaged!

Jeremy’s original plan was to propose at Morristown Green, where so much of their story took place, but since other friends of theirs claimed that proposal spot first, it only seemed right to have their own unique story! But, naturally, we wanted to incorporate the Green into their session somehow, so we ended our session there after first starting at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and then we ended the session with dinner and drinks at The Famished Frog, where they had their first kiss!

These two met at a wedding originally, of a mutual friend, but it wasn’t until running into each other later on at The Famished Frog that the first move was made! Ever since, these two have been best friends! I’ve gotten to see their love grow since the beginning, seeing them at all their friends weddings, keeping my fingers crossed they’d have their turn soon, and my goodness am I glad I get to be the one to document their love story!

When Kristin emailed me asking to be their photographer, she said “I can’t believe it took me this long to email you!!” …It was like 5 days hahaha! They’re getting married this August at Architect’s Golf Club and I seriously don’t know how they’re pulling it together so fast! Kristin, you have a lot of skill!!

Together, they are ALWAYS making each other laugh, are very commonly found hanging out in Morristown on a date or with friends, and truly have built a wonderful life together. I cannot wait for their turn this August as they become husband and wife, and I am so so so glad I get to be the one to document their story! Kristin and Jeremy, THANK YOU for this HONOR. I truly cannot wait to celebrate your love and have YOU TWO in the spotlight after many weddings running into each other as guests. It’s going to be a BLAST!
