Brand photography gives me LIFE. And this session was no exception – it made my heart so happy! I LOVED photographing this brand session for wedding and event planner, Gilda Suncar! Gilda is getting ready to launch her new planning and design company, GIlded Grace Events and I am so excited for the world to experience her talent! She’s always been a crafty person, making her own party decor for herself and friends, and now, she’s gearing up to make a full fledged business for it!! Every piece she designs is unique and personalized.
When talking with Gilda, it’s clear she enjoys the entire process of designing, planning, and styling, just as much as the finished project! And when I met her in person finally, it was so clear that she’s in the right industry – she is SO STYLISH herself!! She told me that her mind goes into overdrive whenever she is planning an event which makes her the perfect person for the job, and I have to say, I can relate!
In 2018 she remarried and of course planned her own wedding! She paid attention to all the details. She designed her own save the dates, centerpieces and everything else! She coordinated the wedding with the caterer/event coordinator to stay on top of all the planning. And as she says: “At that time, I knew I could really do this for a living and love every minute of it!” She does what she does because it makes her heart explode with happiness! Again, I can relate!!
For this session, we really wanted to capture a few different scenes: A behind the scenes of Gilda setting up tables, two different tablescapes, headshots, lifestyle headshots, and her with a client at a mock consult. It was a BLAST to plan the session, and naturally, even more fun to photograph it! For the table scenes, Gilda designed two different setups for the session – a wedding setup and a bridal shower/birthday type setup! They were both so stinkin beautiful! She has a real eye for design – from the invitations to the forks and knives it was all picked to make the perfect place settings, and no detail went unplanned.
Now onto the headshots portion! AHHH they came out SO good! She is so stylish! All of her outfits really fit her bubbly, stylish, elegant, yet sweet personality! We took photos in the vineyard, and around the winery, and despite the insane heat that day, we had an absolute blast! She was so much fun to work with and was such a natural in front of the camera! I’m already excited for our next shoot!!
All in all, I loved loved loved this session and I can’t wait to see her business dreams come to life! Gilda, I hope to be able to photograph you and your work again so so soon!
