This fall and winter have been an eventful one at Laura Lee Photography, especially with not one but TWO newborn sessions! It makes me feel so honored and grateful for all the amazing couples in my life. Earlier this year, Laura and James reached out to see if I could do newborn portraits for them right before the holidays so they could share some amazingly adorable pictures with all of their family and friends. James is the brother of one of my past couples, Sara and Brian, and was the best man at their wedding earlier this summer. This was my first newborn session in about 5 years so I was both nervous AND excited about the opportunity!                 

Laura and James welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Thomas James Gibson, to the world just before Thanksgiving. He is seriously the sweetest, best baby I’ve ever photographed. I think he is going to spoil me for all newborn sessions from here on out! He didn’t even cry!! For like three hours straight!!

We started the session by the fireplace for a few photos as a family for their Christmas card. Then, we changed Tommy into FIVE more adorable outfits! Oh my gosh did Laura do the best job picking out all the outfits! With the help of Pinterest, we had the best time suiting him up in Christmas outfits, a puppy hat, NJ Devils attire, and cozy swaddling blankets.

Throughout the session, with all of his outfit changes and the excitement of people all around, he just laid there all calm and happy. And even slept through most of his individual portraits! What a sweetie! It was such a heartwarming session, I am in love with how the pictures turned out!

I could not be happier for Laura and James!! They have such a little blessing to celebrate every day! And Tommy is so lucky to have these two as his parents to help him grow and play and learn! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for this beautiful little family and hope many sessions and milestones are in our futures together!! I could get used to photographing this adorable face!!
