OH BABY! My heart is SO full looking through all the amazing photos from Aimee and Matt’s 3-month session with their beautiful baby daughter, Evelyn or Evy for short. There is honestly no better feeling than getting to share in another major milestone of one of your couples lives. I feel so honored to have been asked to photograph this next stage in Aimee and Matt’s life together. And c’mon, there is seriously no better subject to photography than a blissful, bright eyed baby who has just woke up from her nap and is ready to greet the world!
I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Aimee and Matt since 2016 when I photographed their engagement session at Grounds for Sculpture and then their stunningly beautiful wedding at FEAST at Round Hill. Since then, I’ve been honored to be the photographer for at least five of their friends weddings with more on the books for 2019 and beyond!! These two have been the biggest supporters of Laura Lee Photography and I couldn’t be more grateful!!
Just one week before she was due, I ran into Aimee at Brian and Sara’s Wedding at the Farmstead Country Club. Aimee was absolutely glowing and I could not contain my excitement for her and Matt. Then, just a few weeks later in October, there she was at Casey and Mike’s wedding celebrating alongside them and telling me all about her amazing new daughter. Needless to say, I could NOT wait to meet this beautiful little girl.
Our session with baby Evy was perfect in every way. She is seriously the most adorable little peanut! Her big smile (which she gets from her dad) just melts your heart. Aimee and Matt could not be more excited to be parents! They are loving every second of their time with baby Evy. For the session, they dressed her in the cutest little cozy outfits with a few different color bows in her hair to tame her full, brown locks. Her beautiful blue eyes just pop in every photo! I could not be happier with how these turned out!
It was such an honor to meet this new little sunshine in the lives of Aimee and Matt and all of their family – parents, grandparents and even great grandparents! Aimee and Matt are already the best parents and they are all so lucky to have each other. I can’t wait to continue watching and sharing in all the excitement of this adorable little family! I know this is just the beginning of many future milestones documented for the Masterson family!
