Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

Caroline and Jason’s wedding at Park Savoy Estate this May was nothing short of amazing.  When I met these two over a year ago at their Alma Mater, TCNJ for their engagement session, I knew I would be in for a treat on their wedding day.  Caroline and Jason are the type of people who just become even better, happier, and more incredible when they’re with each other, and you could literally see the stress melt away and the joy overcome both of them when they had their first look in the gardens at Park Savoy!

I started the day early – like 6:30AM early in the bridal suite at Park Savoy where Caroline, the girls, and both moms were getting hair and make up done by the incredible Beauty on Location Team! I always love working with this crew – they are so sweet and the girls all looked incredible!

While everyone was in hair and makeup, I started photographing all of the bridal details.  From the elegant black and white invitation suite, to the beautiful purple florals, to her Badgley Mischka wedding flats to their beautiful, timeless wedding bands (which is super similar to my own engagement ring and future wedding band!) I had a blast styling these elegant details while the girls got ready. Caroline had individual hangers with each other girls names engraved for their dresses (as well as her own) and I photographed the navy bridesmaids dresses and her beautiful gown in the suite on the fireplace.

While I was upstairs with the girls, my amazing friend and second shooter Monika was downstairs with Jason and the guys! Jason had three best men/groomsmen and I love when we get to work with smaller wedding parties! It just makes it so easy to get to know them, and these guys were all so easy to work with!

After all the early morning prep was done, Caroline and the girls got into their dresses and I squealed with excitement when Caroline put her dress and veil in! When everything was on, it was time for her first look with Jason and I was SO excited for this moment!

We went outside to get Jason into position in the upper gardens, and then led the way for Caroline.  When she told him to turn around I got glimpses of what he was saying and it all came down to “WOW WOW WOW I can’t believe how beautiful you are! This is incredible! Oh my gosh you’re so beautiful!” They shared so many unbelievably sweet moments in the next few minutes and then we gathered together to do their portraits around the grounds! The gardens and pond are so beautiful and the lighting was stunning in the early morning so we had about 30 minutes or so of portraits and then were joined by the wedding party and family for formals!

Immediately after pictures, everyone got scooted inside while the guests were brought to their seats at the ceremony. It was a BEAUTIFUL sunny day (one of the first all month!) and Jason and Caroline said their vows on the upper patio overlooking the gardens and golf course with all their friends and family.  I love how proud these two are to marry each other. I literally think I cried nearly half the ceremony listening to them talk about their love for each other. (Such a sap)

After the ceremony, guests gathered indoors and out for cocktail hour followed by the reception in the Grand Ballroom. And when I say grand – holy smokes this place is unbelievably gorgeous!!! The light flooding in through the windows, the ornate and tall ceilings, the incredible chandeliers, and the beautiful floral arrangements on each of the tables made this reception space totally spectacular!  Caroline and Jason snuck in for a quick peak at it where we got some awesome portraits of them in the space and then as cocktail hour wound down, they hid away while guests got to their seats, ready for the reception to kick off!

Caroline and Jason shared a choreographed first dance, followed by parents dances, toasts, welcome blessings and just so much LOVE. And after all the main events, dinner and dancing kicked off for the rest of the afternoon! All in all, this wedding was spectacular and their love was so beautiful to witness. It’s been an HONOR getting to document their love story over the last 18+ months!!

Caroline and Jason, thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of this special and incredible day. It has been SO much fun getting to know you both over the last year and a half and I am so excited knowing that your future holds so much love, laughter, and joy for the two of you! It’s been an absolute honor!! Hope you’re having the best time on your honeymoon in Hawaii and Napa!!!!
