Oh my goodness, getting to shoot for the first time since winter (because of COVID-19) was SUCH a blast! It’s truly mazing how much I missed being behind the camera.
My first session back was for this sweet past couple of mine, Samantha and David, for their maternity session! And while it’s only been a few days since their session, Sam actually gave birth WAY earlier than her scheduled C-Section, so as I write, Benjamin and Jacob have entered the world happy and healthy, and their mama is too!
3 years ago, I had the honor of photographing Sam and David’s wedding at The Tides Estate in NJ – David’s family owns the venue, and he is the pastry chef there, and when we were trying to figure out a location for this session, we had a few hangups of where to shoot due to COVID restrictions at parks. The Tides seemed like the perfect place, and everything would be in bloom! So – mask and all, I met Sam and David at the Tides’s on a beautiful May evening and photographed this sweet season of life for them. I can already tell these two boys are so loved and cherished and I can’t wait for their newborn session so so soon!
Sam and David – you are both going to make AMAZING and such loving parents, I can’t wait to watch your boys grow up!! It was truly an honor to get to photograph this life milestone for you!
