I love when couple’s engagement sessions are so unique to their love story, and Amanda and Eric’ engagement session on the Upper East Side in NYC was just that! We started out at the Crossfit gym where they met, continued to a nearby park where they frequent with their sweet pup Mia, and ended the night at their favorite date night restaurant getting wings and beer! It was fitting to them like a T! These two are so active, outdoorsy and athletic.  Which completely makes sense when you hear their story…

A few years back, Amanda and Eric met at the Crossfit gym where they were both members. Amanda said that she played hard to get for a while but was finally convinced after Eric persisted! Their unofficial first date was when Eric helped Amanda build an Ikea bookshelf for her apartment. And their first official first date was attending the Giants vs Jets game together. Which they would soon find out was something that they both LOVE to do together.

When they are not working as an operating room nurse (Amanda) or at the MLB (Eric), they love spending time together with their dog, Mia. Since they are both big sports fans, they love to attend or watch any major league sporting event! And of course, since they are both big Crossfitters, they also love to go to the gym together!

Eric popped the question on a cool fall night at the Botanical Gardens in the company of their loving dog, Mia. I’m so glad we got to include Mia in part of the session! She had a bum leg from an injury that week so she couldn’t come with us the whole time but this sweet girl was still all smiles for the few minutes she got to come out with us!

I just love how outdoorsy and sporty these two are! The part of their session at the Crossfit gym was SO fun – and I’d have to say it was a first for me! After spending the evening with these two, it was clear how much they care for each other and make a perfect match as a couple. They make each other feel confident and happy in any situation – casual or formal. And of course, make each other laugh – which I just LOVE.
