Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

I am so excited to share this wedding with you guys!!! This wedding was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was held at my favorite venue ever RED MAPLE VINEYARD!! For those of you who don’t know I’m getting married there next year!! I am SOOO excited! I cannot say enough great things about this place. With that being said, I was so excited when Amanda and Eric inquired and said they were getting married there. Before I get into the amazing details of their wedding day, check out their upper east side engagement session when I got to know them soooo well, here

When I first arrived I met with Amanda, her bridesmaids and family in the bridal suite which is just so beautiful. We decided to take the details in the barn to photograph them and they came out SOOOO good! The light coming through the window filled walls was so great! During this time I even got to see them set up the reception which was so beautiful oh my gosh. When they brought the florals in the room absolutely came to life!

Amanda’s details were stunning, her shoes from BHLDN were so unique I loved them! I hung her dress against a rock wall to photograph and it looked AMAZING. Honestly, this whole day was just amazing!! They even had a personalized ring box that said Red Maple Vineyard on it with their wedding date. That gave me a good idea haha!

After I finished photographing Amanda’s details she got into her gorgeous dress, ready to have a first look with her dad and then Eric! Her brother was also at her first look with her dad and this was such a sweet family moment. Amanda cried as she met with her dad and brother, they were all so excited that they day was finally here!

Finally it was time for Eric to see his soon to be wife!! We did their first look under a huge maple tree which was soooo cool! Their first look was seriously so special. Eric couldn’t stop smiling and telling Amanda how beautiful she looked! We took some portraits under the amazing maple tree and got some shots with the whole tree in the picture. It was pretty epic if I do say so myself! It was one of the hottest days in 10 years, so we took a break before doing the second half of their portraits. Eric even packed 4 shirts and had to keep changing, but they were being such troopers!

After cooling off we went to the garden for more portraits which came out so cute. You can tell just how much these two love each other, and you can see how much Eric adores Amanda – it is all over his face in all of the portraits! Amanda and Eric had such a big wedding party which made it soo fun! We endured the heat for their portraits which came out so good, but decided to head inside for the family formals. It was way too hot for everyone to be standing outside!

Before the ceremony, Amanda, Eric and their families did a small Ketubah signing to honor Eric’s Jewish heritage. As everyone was preparing for the ceremony the guests began to head to the ceremony spot which is to die for!! There is a gorgeous view of the property and you can see the mountains beyond it. The ceremony began and it was so special, Amanda and Eric were so happy to finally be married! I loved that they provided sunglasses and fans for all their guests to try and beat the heat!

Cocktail hour started and it was simply amazing, there was a pizza station (which I loved!!!) Me and my team then tackled reception details before all the guests poured in. The details all day were just so beautiful! It was time for intros to begin and oh my gosh they were all sooo funny! Amanda and Eric’s ring bearer was flossing for so long, it had everyone smiling! Amanda and Eric then shared their first dance which was soooo cute! When their dance was over everyone came out and started dancing!!

Their reception was such a blast and they even had a surprise up their sleeves for their guests. Right after Amanda and Eric cut their cake, fireworks started going off! They had a full blown show planned which was AMAZING. To end the night they had an after party around the firepit. They provided all the s’mores and late night snacks you could want! Everyone hung out their until the wee hours of the morning!!

Wow, what a day this was!! Amanda and Eric had a STUNNING wedding at Red Maple Venue, I couldn’t help but get soooo excited for my own wedding next year!! Amanda and Eric are such a perfect pair, all day you could just see how much they care about each other! Thank you for letting me capture this part of your love story and I know your future will just get brighter with each other by your side!!
