Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

It’s always the BEST feeling when someone inquiries with you and says that they knew you’d be their wedding photographer before they were even engaged. That happened to be the case with Amanda and Dan and I am SO honored! Amanda went to my high school and had been following my work since I started (I’m so humbled!) and when they reached out about shooting their wedding at FEAST at Round Hill I was so thrilled that I was available. After our initial consultation, I could tell that they were both super fun, outdoor loving and bubbly- which is exactly the type of couples I love working with!!

Amanda and Dan met while working together at Shop Rite. Their relationship started as friends and quickly became flirtatious as Dan made fun of her all the time. Finally, one day after work they decided to grab a super later dinner (more like midnight snack) at IHOP. Essentially, the rest was history and now here we are! I couldn’t be more happy for these two to find their soul mate in each other.

On the morning of the wedding, all the bridesmaids got dressed and ready at the venue, and I was so thankful because this makes the day so much less stressful + this house is absolutely adorable and wonderful for details and bride prep pictures! Way more exciting than a hotel room for the bride to dress!

I started off with Amanda’s gorgeous details, including a beautiful handkerchief from her mom that her mother had been keeping since she was born.  It used to be a baby bonnet, turned into wedding handkerchief and I love how special this was. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and made such a beautiful backdrop- the colors were seriously amazing, and April always does an unbelievable job- I love working with her!!! When the girls were done with hair and make-up, we took some cute champagne pictures in the front foyer and then they all hid upstairs while Amanda put her dress on so she could do a first look with all of them too!

Once Amanda had her dress on, which left every jaw dropped on the floor, we did a first look with the bridesmaids, and her father.  The second her dad opened the door, she cried, and he tried his best to hold back tears. I’m nottttt so sure it worked!

After the morning was done flying by, it was time for Amanda and Dan to see each other for their first look!  We put Dan into position for the first look and took Amanda to the garden to see her groom.  She looked absolutely stunning in her form fitting gown, completing her beautiful bridal look with the most beautiful smile, and flawless hair and makeup.  Dan turned around and walked to her so fast we almost missed it, but I’m pretty sure I caught a tear on his cheek out of the corner of my eye! He couldn’t stop saying how beautiful she was and time stood still for a while as they hugged, kissed, flirted, and held each other close.  There were tears, there was laughter, and there was so so much joy.

We went from their first look to take portraits around the party, until being greeted by the wedding party!  The girls were all decked out in gorgeous deep purple gowns, and the guys in light grey suits. Everything popped so beautifully against the fall colors and flowers in their bouquets.

After wedding party and family formals were done, guests started arriving so Amanda and Dan went to hang out inside while we waited for the ceremony to begin.

After the ceremony in the garden, the guests enjoyed cocktail hour until Amanda and Dan were introduced at the reception.  We kicked off with the special dances, followed by her dad’s blessing and toasts.  The dance floor was JAM packed from there as they played traditional hits and Spanish music for Dan’s culture. It was so much fun seeing everyone embrace it and hit the dance floor!

After dinner, I snuck them outside in the garden and the porch for some night shots and I love how they turned out! It’s the perfect cap to their story!

Amanda and Dan, thank you for being such amazing people to work with through this entire process. I’ve loved connecting with you and documenting your beautiful love story.  There is no doubt in my mind you’re in for a lifetime of love and so much happiness!
