Hi! I'm Laura!

I’m a wedding and brand photographer for creative and adventurous hearts and and your resident work-life balance aficionado. I’m so glad you’re here!
My favorite thing in life is sitting out by my fire-pit with a glass of Riesling and a s’more in hand with friends and family surrounding me. I'm rarely ever found without a warm blanket wrapped around me, and If my wallet didn't frown upon it, I’d probably buy everything in Anthropologie Home and Free People.

Oh man you guys! Liz and Kevin’s wedding at The Terrace in Paramus was surely something special, and there was just SO much joy and love surrounding these two all day.  I think the first thing I said to a friend after the wedding was “Wow, these two are just SO LOVED and it was SO incredible to be a part of such a joy filled day.”

I met Liz when she was a bridesmaids in her cousin Allison and Alex’s wedding, and then once again as a bridesmaid in Ellen and Joe’s wedding. So, by now, I feel like a part of their family!  When Liz and Kevin got engaged soon after Allison’s wedding, I had my fingers secretly crossed that she’d reach out because her joy is so contagious! Needless to say, I was ecstatic when her and kevin booked their wedding with me!!

The story of how they met is one I love love love! Liz had been living with her brother and his best friend in Jersey City for 3.5 years.  Kevin happened to be the brother of Liz’s brother’s best friend (Aka her other roomie!) so Kevin frequented their apartment to hang out.  It wasn’t until their annual Oktoberfest party where Kevin showed up in Lederhosen that him and Liz really got to talking.  After hours of talking at the party, they became fast friends and it wasn’t long after that they shared their first date! Because of this meet-cute, it made total sense for them to have an Oktoberfest station at their cocktail hour!

I started out at Liz’s parents house where she got dressed and ready with the girls. Her and Kevin exchanged notes that they wrote in pre-cana, and she looked absolutely stunning in her gown and her mother’s veil. I love how special it was for her to be able to wear that.

We did some portraits in the yard, and then headed off to the church where her dad would hold her tight to walk her down the aisle to meet her groom.  Kevin shed tears of excitement and anticipation as she approached and I love that moment! They wed and said their I dos in front of all their family and friends, and exited to greet their guests in a receiving line.

From the church, we went over to the venue for a quick round of portraits, wedding party, and family and then they joined in on their Oktoberfest cocktail hour! Once the reception started, the dance floor was hopping all night thanks to their band, The Uptown Getdowns!

I had such a blast being a part of this day, and am so honored to have couples like Liz and Kevin.  I’m so thankful I get to share this love story.

Liz and Kevin, I hope you love these pictures as much as I do! Your joy and love is something I hope everyone can find and I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am for you to have met and found your soul mates in each other!!

Thank you to these amazing vendors for putting together a flawless day!
