Oh my goodness I cannot wait for you guys to see this wedding because holy cow what an amazing day this was!! Meghan and Brett had the most perfect October day for their wedding in Larchmont, New York. The air was crisp, the sun was out and the sunset was to die for!! Their family has been part of the Larchmont Shore Club for generations so it was only fitting Meghan and Brett celebrated tying the knot there! Before I get into the amazing details of this wedding, you’ve got to check out their West Village engagement session and a peak into their love story.

I met up with the girls that morning who were getting ready at the Larchmont Shore Club and let me tell you, this venue is GORGEOUS. The view of the water, the beautiful architecture and huge windows – it was a photographer’s dream!! I kept saying how I wished all venues had as perfect lighting as this one did haha! I got to photographing Meghan’s details and they were absolutely elegant and perfectly simple. I was OBSESSED with her bridesmaid dresses which were red velvet which I thought looked amazing!!! We got a bunch of adorable pictures of all the girls in their cute matching flannel pajamas and with thee cutest flower girl!

After Meghan was dressed it was time for the first look with her dad. He waited surrounded by huge windows overlooking the water anxious to see Meghan. Meghan came down a beautiful set of stairs and as her dad turned around tears came to his eyes! The moment they had together was so sweet. He was obviously so excited for Meghan to be married that day!

Right after, we made our way straight to the church where the ceremony was being held! This church was BEAUTIFUL. I knew Meghan and Brett had amazing friends and family but I had no idea what I was in for that night. After Meghan and Brett were pronounced husband and wife, their amazing family burst into cheers and applause! It was the loudest and longest cheer I have EVER heard at a wedding – it was awesome!! The energy was so high and everyone was clearly so happy for the newlyweds.

Following the ceremony we headed back to the venue and got right into wedding party photos. They were so much fun to work with and so nice! We took a bunch in front of the trolley they took to get between locations, and the rest on the lawn at the venue. The lighting was PERFECT. The whole wedding party was so excited for Meghan and Brett including the whole family during formals!

Next was bride and groom portraits for Meghan and Brett and the timing was perfect. The sun was setting at the exact right moment and it looked so glowy and dreamy!! The sunset was just as gorgeous as Meghan and Brett that night. The grounds of the venue was stunning and had so many amazing opportunities for places for portraits! Meghan and Brett were so giggly and in love while we took their pictures it was SO CUTE! To finish their portraits we continued the family tradition and took some pictures of them on rocks down by the water and omg it was so epically beautiful!!!

Then it was time to kick off the reception and let me tell you, it was a blast!! I had so much fun with Meghan and Brett’s family I kept saying, “can these guys please adopt me?!” haha! Intros started the party as everyone burst through the doors dancing! The whole room was full of energy cheering and applauding the whole time! After intros, they went straight into Meghan and Brett’s first dance which was so sweet. He sang to her the entire time which I absolutely loved! Every time he twirled her the whole room cheered for them!

The dance floor didn’t stop all night long! This group was so fun and the band was AMAZING. They were so talented and amazing at keeping the energy high and everyone on the dance floor! After some dancing, Meghan’s dad took the floor to make a speech. It was so heartfelt. He shared memories, how happy he felt for Meghan and Brett and welcomed Brett happily into the family! Meghan’s maid of honor and Brett’s best man also both gave amazing speeches filled with cherished memories and good laughs that everyone enjoyed!

Wow, what a wedding this was! The dancing and singing on the dance floor didn’t stop at all during the night! This was such a fun crowd! Meghan and Brett thank you soooo much for letting me capture your best day ever, it was an honor being part of your love story. I hope your future is filled with even more happiness, laughter and love and your marriage is as dreamy as your wedding day was! Cheers to you guys!!
