I’m super excited to be sharing Danielle and Aaron’s wedding day at West Hills Country Club with you guys today! The love between these two is amazing. When Danielle was telling me about how Aaron proposed to her she was holding back tears the entire time – so sweet! Before I get into the simple details of their wedding day, you have to catch up on how Danielle and Aaron met in their engagement blog post, it could have been straight out of a movie! You’ll get an amazing look at places that mean so much to these two around the Pine Island region which is known for its jet black soil, and the farmland made for the most gorgeous natural backdrops!
Danielle and Aaron’s wedding day started with Danielle’s bridal details at the West Hill Country Club. While the girls were getting their hair and makeup done I was taking pictures of Danielle’s simple, elegant details. They had neutral colors with pops of dark greens and reds which brought such beautiful contrast to the photos! I love how much Danielle’s diamond covered rings popped against the black of Aaron’s wedding band! When it was time for Danielle to get dressed her two maids of honor helped her into her dress from David’s bridal. The dress had beautiful lace detailing on the bodice that cascaded down into the skirt with such tiny sequins and pearls throughout which made the dress shimmer through the day!
After Danielle got dressed it was time for the first look with her dad. This was by far my favorite part of the day!! Danielle’s mom and brother took her dad out to the patio where they covered his eyes as he awaited to see his daughter now as a beautiful bride! When he opened his eyes Danielle was in front of him and he couldn’t help but start crying with a huge smile across his face. This was such a sweet moment to witness. The love Danielle’s dad has for her is undeniable and you could tell just how happy he was for her!
After this, it was finally time for one of the most anticipated parts of the day, Danielle’s first look with Aaron! Aaron waited outside for Danielle on the golf course which gave us such a simple, green landscape. This moment was so so cute! When Aaron and Danielle locked eyes for the first time neither of them could stop smiling! You could tell how excited they both were to finally see each other and how excited they were to finally get married. It was a really windy day but it flowed through Danielle’s veil and train making her look so natural and elegant!
We took some beautiful portraits of Danielle and Aaron on the golf course but it eventually got a bit too windy so we headed inside the tent they had set up for some cover! The tent had elegant white linens hanging across the top and sides of the tent and intricate chandeliers that made it feel so classy! Eventually their wedding party joined us in the tent for pictures and the party was huge! Danielle and Aaron both have so many friends and family that love them both dearly. Their wedding party attire was so simple and cohesive – the guys wore black and grey which matched Danielle’s two maid of honors who also wore grey, and the girls wore green matching all the guys’ bow ties and the CUTEST little flower girl’s dress as well!
Their ceremony took place inside the tent – it was so bright and airy in there! Danielle’s dad walked her down the aisle to Aaron who could barely wait for his bride! When they reached Aaron, Danielle’s dad with tears in his eyes said, “take good care of her” and everyone knew he will do just that! Their ceremony was short, sweet and filled with love – there were smiles all across the room! The cocktail hour and reception followed inside the tent which made it super easy for guests to move throughout the day. Danielle and Aaron’s reception details were inspired by their love for the Harry Potter series! This was such a unique touch. They decorated with potion bottles on the tables, the Hogwarts house flags and rustic lamps!
Aaron and Danielle, thank you so much for letting be a part of your love story! I am so thrilled for you two and can only imagine what life has in store for you guys! Watching your friends and family celebrate your love and capturing it all day was so special!
